Sometimes the simplest change makes all the difference.

This mirror was given a fresh black finish, and what a beautiful transformation it made. It now has a whole new presence—classic, rich, and timeless.🖤

Have a piece you’d love to see transformed? Send me a message.

After 13 years of building Tricia’s Treasures one piece, one transformation, and one wonderful customer at a time, I’m so happy to finally have a website.

You can now see some of my work, learn about the services I offer, and get in touch about a piece you’d love to see brought back to life. ✨🫶

Beautiful furniture transformations, thoughtfully refinished in Nova Scotia.

Remember those dining chairs I posted and asked everyone to guess what colour they were going to be?

Well, the guessing is over! And the answer is… BLACK! 🖤

These beautiful, generously sized dining chairs have been completely transformed with a classic black finish, giving them a fresh, timeless farmhouse look.

Did you happen to notice the beautiful black cabinet in the background? That's another piece I had the pleasure of refinishing!

It’s amazing what a little imagination and a whole lot of hard work can do!

🖤 If these were your chairs, would you keep the black, or would you choose a completely different colour?

I’d love to hear what you’d choose!
Good-quality furniture deserves a second life. ✨

This beauty is ready to go back home. 🖤

This piece has some history. It belonged to my clients mother and has some water damage along the way. But it has now been restored to a beautiful statement piece to be enjoyed for many years.

I love the black. I think it’s one of my favourite statement colours.
It’s timeless really goes with any decor. 🫶🖤

Paint can completely transform a tired or dated piece, giving it character, originality and charm — and turning something ordinary into something that feels completely your own.

At Tricia’s Treasures, every transformation is original. I don’t believe in turning out the same look over and over again. Whether you bring me a piece you already own or choose one I have available, each piece is individually refinished with its own style and personality.

No two pieces are ever exactly alike.

So if you’re looking for something unique — something you won’t walk into someone else’s home and see — maybe it’s time to give that brown furniture a whole new life.

A little look back at some of the different styles I’ve done over the years. I had almost forgotten about some of these set ! 🥰

Hard to believe this is the same piece! One of my more challenging transformations from a few years ago. 🫶

When dogs eat furniture 😂

Let’s talk about dogs trying to eat chair rungs for a minute. 😳 I’m not sure why they like to do that, but if you find yourself with chairs like the one in this photo, don’t fret. I can repair the damage and, with a painted finish, you’ll never know it was there.
