🌿✨ WE’RE IN THE OLD FARMER’S ALMANAC! ✨🌿

A literal dream come true for us! For gardeners and growers of all kinds this is it!! Fashion folks have Vogue, musicians have Rolling Stone, and we have the Old Farmers Almanac!

First published in 1792, The Old Farmer’s Almanac has been sharing gardening wisdom, planting advice, weather forecasts, and seasonal traditions for more than 230 years and there we are in the 2027 Canadian edition! ! Someone pinch us ✨✨✨

You can find a copy at groceries stores etc and of course we have some for sale in the shop!

We photographed all the bouquets and arrangements we created at The Secret Garden today! So come browse through a flower filled Wednesday with us. 🌸✨

First up in the morning: stocking the Grab & Go fridge for the day with this earthy but feminine Autumn colour pallete.

Made up these Grab and Go’s as well, featuring one of our very favourite flowers, Feverfew: the dainty daisy like wildflower. We grow tons of these and they are currently blooming for the second time this season ✨

Next up is an online order for a grand arrangement in our wild & romantic palette.

A classic garden arrangement made for an online order with the sweetest card message. One of the perks of being a florist is getting to see all the sweet, romantic messages that customers ask us to include with the flowers 🩷

An in-store order for a gigantic “just because” bouquet. This one was definitely a workout to build and even heavier to hold!

A very lucky woman is going to be very happy when her partner walks through the door with this bouquet!

Restocking the Grab and Go’s: This or That??

Another classic sized arrangement for an online order, we love these soft fall colours.

A lush sympathy arrangement, designed with our signature garden-inspired style. 🤍🌿

A grand garden bouquet with fall colours for an in store pick up.

A classic garden bouquet for delivery in late afternoon sunlight underneath one of our favourite downtown Milton trees 🌻

Thanks for spending a Wednesday at The Secret Garden with us!

This week in the Garden:

Autumn is our favourite season for florals and I think it shows, this is us at our best, wild, unruly, textural 🌾🤎

We’re cutting sunflowers every morning 🌻🌞

We had our first of many events this month, grateful for all the folks who gather to learn and create here.

Our market bouquets are September in flower form.

We grew an amaranth jungle and I will never be over it.

If you like your flowers a little less ordinary come visit us at The Secret Garden 🗝️🌾
