Another project, done!
This white pine blanket box was a custom order and is being picked up today! It will look great in its new home!
This was a fun, simple build!
Now it's time to clean this messy shop!

I was recently hired to build this 6-foot-tall heart-shaped statue.
You can see it on display at Let's Get Local Shop, right beside the beautiful river mural. A great spot for a memorable picture of a visit to minden, or just for fun!
Be sure to try one of their homemade sandwiches and pizza, a nice treat after a float on the Gull River!

I'd like to shout out my friend Hailey, a local artist, for helping me get the lines as perfect as I could based on the picture I was going by.

I went to look at some trees for removal this afternoon.
We went in the house for a coffee and I got to see my work in use. I found out that the large canoe(about 24 inches long and 3.4 inches tall)makes a great mixed nut or candy holder. The kitchen build that my son and I designed and installed looks terrific! And the floating shelves are weighted and still holding strong!
I'm grateful that I get to do what I love.

A few more hours work on this custom pine blanket box.
It will have handles and a piano hinge for the lid.
I love the smell of pine in the shop!

A big thanks to Century 21 in Barrie for giving me the
opportunity to introduce myself and talk about my goods and services. It was a great turnout! Thanks to everyone who attended. I should have taken more pictures, but I was too busy chatting....surprise.
