✨ BIG NEWS FROM THE FORRESTER SCHOOL OF DANCE ✨

We’re growing… and we’re so excited to announce that The Forrester School of Dance will now be offering classes in TWO locations for the upcoming fall season! ⚔️✨

🏰 Our main studio location at The Forrester Center in Coxheath/Sydney River will continue to be home to so many of our programs, dancers, and special memories — and we can’t wait for another incredible season there.

🌿 AND… we’re thrilled to begin offering classes in the Mira & area as well! This second studio space will help us connect with families from our home town travelling the Louisbourg Highway corridor, including Albert Bridge, Marion Bridge, Mira, and surrounding communities.

Our new Mira location is designed to bring dance a little closer to home for many families while continuing the same welcoming, encouraging, and high-quality dance experience that The Forrester School of Dance is known for.

We are currently exploring interest for:
✨ Highland Dance
✨ Step Dance
✨ Recreational & performance opportunities
✨ Youth, teen, and adult programming

If you or someone you know may be interested in joining us in the area this fall, we’d love to hear from you!

Looking for something to do tomorrow? Stop by The Bridge for their first market of the season 10am-2pm.
While you’re there say hi to Leijsa, she’ll be in house at Grinding Gears pouring the best coffee on the island. Jen’s also on scene tomorrow to help turn vintage into modern chic at Riverside Revival Thrift Co. . This is a stop you don’t want to miss 🤩
And guess what!! I’m at the helm at Riverside Locals where you’ll find items made by over 40 local artisans and markers. I’ll be there from 10am -2pm then you can find me taking the reins for Jen over at Riverside Revial Thrift Co for the rest of the afternoon.
Pop on in and say hi 😄!!

Good morning Everyone…

A quick reminder that our Pop Up Craft Markets begin this Saturday, May 16th.
Each market will be held every second Saturday going forward, and the time will be 10-2.
We hope that everyone will come out to support our local crafters, as well as our wonderful businesses that will be open during the markets as well ( Grinding Gears Cafe, The Locals Gift Shop, LaRusic Catering, and Riverside Revival Thrift Co. ).
Also this Saturday, The Mira Centre will be set up selling tickets on one dozen lobsters, so be sure to purchase your tickets when there.
