Announcement: We’re officially transitioning to Waitlist Production.
After careful consideration and testing multiple systems, we’ve decided the best way to honour our abilities and your expectations is to ‘officially’ take in requests through our site, with a downpayment. This alleviates the amount of tasks we manage and ensures everyone gets a fair chance to access our creations.
To keep it brief: Starting Sunday April 5th at 5pm EDT, you can purchase your waitlist ‘ticket’, which assigns you to a production batch #, we reach out to you when we’re ready for your group & you can request any item you wish for. You’re invoiced once the order is complete with shipping fees calculated and the waitlist amount subtracted.

By our estimates we can cover around 25 batches until 2027, give & take.

Phew! Don’t know why, but writing and posting this felt scary somehow. Thank you to everyone in the community for your constant support and your flexibility as we navigate being a business and learn how to be better for you all.

The pictures are to simply display a custom order that I’m proud to have designed and love dearly.

Knit City Toronto you were a whirlwind of memorable adventures and meetings! So many new things happened: a new venue, first time teaching in Ontario, bringing our 3 children along for the ride, our car engine dying on us and many new friendly faces encountered. We were surrounded by amazing, talented vendors with generous hearts. Fiona and Amanda and their team of volunteers outdid themselves and kept showing up for everyone’s needs. I got to meet again sweet supporters and colleagues and for that I’m also infinitely grateful. Special thank you to who dedicated her Saturday at our booth helping with questions, fibre management, demonstrations and moral support, you were incredible! Tomorrow I’ll start a live at 3pm EDT and share stories of the weekend as well as present our creative plans for the times to come considering our urgent need for a new vehicle. You can ask questions, or share your own favourite moments of the weekend.

These are coming to Toronto!
Our barrel support spindle gives a powerful rotation without sacrificing speed.

The lighting for this picture was so tricky; it reflected off the snow outside and kept overpowering the camera, but I finally caught the right angle and it feels like the annoyance was all worth it. I love how we can see the fine wood dust from the workshop coating the whorls.

Knit City Toronto here we come! The whole family is ready to welcome you at booth 430 in front of the lounge area.
We have a beautiful collection of drop spindles, support spindles, spinning accessories, processing tools, clean fleece and Majacraft wheels for you to try out.

I’ll be posting in my stories various items we’re bringing as well as our usually quirky travel adventures. Fingers crossed the car survives the 10 hour ride this time (iykyk) !

Phew, these days are busy! Full of information, of changes, of adaptations and emotions. I’m grateful for the full schedule as a distraction, and the obligations keep the mind from ruminating. To protect the heart and mind, every day a bit of spinning, a bit of reading (both paper and audio). This weekend is going to be a lovely social gathering vending at and by Monday, our family is going on our first ever plane trip…to Mexico! We were gifted with plane tickets and lodging and I intend to savour every moment.

The picture shows a few items we made, a season adequate spindle filled delicious fiber she prepared, some handspun yarn I’d love to find a project for.

The final contestants in their category for the upcoming shop update. A big thank you to all IG story participants who help us in our decision making (leather or copper?!), it’s loads of fun and motivating for us here at the workshop.

I'm teaching in person next Sunday August 31st at Mapi Creations (in Quebec near Ontario border)

We'll look at all aspects of spinning a Finished Singles, whether thin or thick, lopi or otherwise, fiber preparation, twist, how to finish etc.

It's also an opportunity to understand your own spinning tendencies, your wheel, and how to change your habits.

I admit, I sometimes extensively ‘test’ the spindles made for our shop. To the point of making entire projects. I infuse each particle of wood with love, appreciation and memories, whisper gestures of confidence into the object, then send it your way trusting it has all it needs to pass on some of that connection to you.
This particular spindle gave me 36g of joy, and those 36g were from another handspinner, who sent little handcombed nuggets of love my way, fleece from a sheep name Rosie. It’s the knowing, the continuous and self-aware link that gives value to our material possessions.

This spin definitely brought me joy and pride - I love it dearly.
Joy for spinning a batt made by someone special to me, who’s always offered support and understanding. is such an authentic person, she’s always putting in the work to follow her path and stay in harmony with her community- It was a pleasure to aim on creating a yarn that represented the beauty she gives with her craft.

Pride because I challenged myself on aiming for a worsted spun DK weight yarn neither low or high twist. This isn’t my default and it was alot of fun going through the gymnastics of handling a layered-type blend of long wools, angora, short and soft wools.

The first and last picture show in natural lighting the subtle and soft interactions of colour and fibers.
The second picture shows me in my playful mood, my singles split evenly onto 2 toilet paper rolls, feeling like a kid (and wearing my Le Chateau clothes from 6th grade) and ready to ply.

TdF day 8 spin - completed a 2-ply skein of 296 yards, weighing 106g

TdF Day 2 was a bittersweet completion of this ensemble.
I deeply enjoyed pairing ‘s beautiful Eye of Tiger batts with my spindles - I get such satisfaction and fun as spindles spin better the more glamoured with yarn they become.

The batts were chef’s kiss in the depth and interplay of golds, thank you SO much Emily!
The rightmost spindle is a beautiful TexasJeans spindle, the others are my designs, lovingly turned by my husband Yves-Antoine.

Let’s go Stash Dashers!
