These jellyfish don't have their base yet. They are my most recent job, and they have been quite challenging. For one thing jellyfish are transparent which is a challenge when it comes to sandblasting. And for another thing, these large jellyfish are nothing like the little jellyfish I used to see along some of the beaches when I grew up. So it has been challenging, but interesting. I do like challenges. I think they are good for me.

This little piece of glass is going to be a door in a library box, one of the boxes one now can find along the road where people can find and take books or leave books for other to take. I think it is a very nice idea and I am glad to have had the opportunity to be a part of it.

I finished the Moodlight with the little fairy. I could not get the camera to read the colours accurately, but the picutre still shows the basic design quite well - even the mountains on the moon. It is actually a challenge to shade the moon very lightly so the main figure can show against it, and I quite happy with it. Anybody want a Moodlight with a fairy for a Valentine present?

This is from a book on Medieval design. It is taken from a manuscript - a capital C with embellishments. It is a good old Viking design with animals appearing as a part of the spiral design. I am not talking about the eagle, which is also simply an embellishment symbolic of the evangelist, John. I am talking about the heads that that bite into the letter.

This was part of a large window with the totem pole one end of the window and an eagle tree in the other end. The house where it belonged for twenty years burnt down a few months ago, so it has come to an unhappy end. It was much appreciated in its life time.

I am taking a look at my old try-outs, and some of the ones I want to keep I have put in frames. Like this one. It is just a small piece and it is a little too tight in the frame, but it was an interesting challenge to work on. In the frame I can now hang it on display some place.
