Mosquito Creek Pottery My name is Jill and I am the woman behind Mosquito Creek Pottery. I make handmade contemporary ceramic dishes, decor, accessories, and planters (to name a few).

All my work is made in North Vancouver, Canada and I'm excited to share it with you! I create contemporary ceramics that bring joy and clean design to your space. I began my practice in 2017 with courses in North Vancouver after never doing pottery before. I have been developing my style since and my work is always evolving. I don’t have assistants to help me produce big bulks of work, so my piece

s are all made in small batches and finished with patience, care, and love. Pottery is not my full time job; I do communications and graphic design for a living - but I am in the studio as much as I can be! My home and pottery studio are adjacent to Mosquito Creek, where I’ve spent lots of time walking and jumping in the icy water on hot days. I named my business Mosquito Creek Pottery because I take inspiration from the mountain river and it’s smooth lines and beautiful colours. It’s also my preferred walking/biking route from home to the pottery studio :)

Christmas market season is just days away! Come visit me at the North Shore’s largest craft fair this Sunday at St. Thomas Aquinas School, 10-4pm. I’ll have all my new pieces plus some really fresh holiday decor (so new, it’s still in the kiln!). There will be some great deals as well.

Depending on how this sale goes, it may be my only one of the season, so come out and get first dibs on unique handmade work.
