Let’s be honest—planning a build or reno is overwhelming. We’ve all been there, drowning in endless Pinterest boards trying to make it all make sense. 🫠

Before we ever sketch a layout or pick a tile, these are the exact ground rules we map out with our clients. Because a beautiful home shouldn’t just look good on camera—it has to actually feel effortless when you live in it.

Lighting is not just illumination — it is intention. ✨

In interior design, lighting quietly shapes how a space feels, functions, and flows. The same room can feel warm and intimate, bright and energetic, or calm and refined simply through thoughtful lighting choices.

At LINE, we approach lighting as a design element, not an afterthought.

• Temperature sets the emotional tone.
Warm lighting creates comfort and softness, while cooler tones feel crisp, clean, and focused.

• Height influences how a space is experienced.
A low pendant can create intimacy over a dining table, while elevated lighting opens a room and enhances spatial volume.

• Placement guides attention.
Lighting can highlight textures, architectural lines, artwork, or allow certain elements to quietly recede.

• Shape adds visual language.
Sculptural fixtures become focal points, while minimal forms support the overall composition.

When these elements are intentionally designed together, lighting becomes more than function — it becomes atmosphere.

The difference between a space that simply looks good and one that feels right is often lighting.

Because great design isn’t only what you see.
It’s what you feel when you walk in.

Sustainability has become a widely used word in our industry — and understandably, clients are beginning to look beyond the label.

To us, conscious design is not a marketing angle, nor a seasonal trend. It is a responsibility.

One of the most meaningful ways to approach sustainability is also the most understated: begin with what already exists. Before specifying something new, we look carefully at what our clients already own — the antique chair with beautiful lines, the Danish sideboard with quiet character, the pieces that may feel tired but still hold integrity.

Through thoughtful reupholstery, restoration, or simply repositioning an item in a new context, we extend the life of what is already well made. These decisions may seem small in isolation, but collectively they shape a more responsible, layered, and authentic interior.

Luxury is not always about adding more.
Often, it is about seeing differently.
