That’s exactly why you need me in the first place.
You get shown beautiful rooms every single day. Nobody tells you what was decided first. Or in what order.
That’s not an accident. That’s 11 years of training.
When I walk into a room I know exactly what I’m looking at first, second, third. Not a guess. Not a feeling. A framework built over a decade of getting it right in real rooms for real people.
You don’t need to spend 11 years learning what I know. You just need my formula.
Comment FOUNDATION and I’ll send you my Room Plans With No Guesswork. Every decision already made. Every room already resolved. You just build it.

You can spend thousands on furniture
and your living room can still feel off.

Not because of what you bought.

👉 There’s no hierarchy.

Nothing leads.
Nothing stands out.
Everything competes.

So the room never settles.

Fix that,
and everything changes.

Comment PLAN and I’ll show you how.

Right now everyone is colour drenching their walls and your feed is telling you white is over. It’s not over. It’s just not trendy. And that’s exactly why it works. Trends rotate. White stays. Every era of design comes back to it because nothing else gives you that level of calm and clarity in a space.
But loving white isn’t enough. You have to know how to do it. And most people don’t.
White isn’t one colour. It’s hundreds. Same white everywhere and the room dies. Mix warm whites cool whites and creamy whites across walls fabrics and furniture. That layering is what gives a white room the depth people can feel but can’t explain.
Texture replaces colour. That’s the rule. Linen against plaster. Boucle next to marble. A ribbed vase on a smooth shelf. In an all white room texture is doing everything colour does in other rooms. Skip this and white looks empty. Nail this and white looks like the most considered room in the house.
The kids excuse is dead. Performance fabrics have changed everything. Crypton. Indoor outdoor linens. They look and feel high end and wipe clean. White with children is a fabric choice not a lifestyle sacrifice.
Then anchor it. Oak floors. Black hardware. One dark object on a shelf. Just enough contrast to stop the eye. Without it white looks unfinished. With it white looks deliberate.
Colour drenching is beautiful. But if white is who you are don’t abandon it because a trend told you to. Learn to do it properly and it will outlast every single one of them.
Tag someone who needs permission to keep their white living room. Save this. Follow for more designer secrets.

You played it safe. That’s why your living room looks boring.
You bought the matching set because it felt like the right thing to do. You stayed in the same colour family because you were scared of getting it wrong. You picked everything from one shop because at least it would all go together. And it does go together. That’s the problem. It goes together so well there’s nothing left to look at.
Fear of clashing is the single biggest thing holding your home back. Every room you’ve ever saved and thought “I could never pull that off” — you could. You just need to stop playing it safe and start creating tension on purpose.
Designers don’t match. We create conflict between pieces and that conflict is what your eye reads as expensive. It’s why a room full of mismatched pieces from different decades can look like it costs more than a room bought brand new in one go.
Your room doesn’t need more stuff. It needs more friction. One piece that doesn’t belong is the piece that makes everything else make sense.

You’ve been decorating your living room in daylight. But you don’t live in your home in daylight.
The version that matters is the 8pm version. The one you actually collapse into. And that version is built entirely with lighting. This is the interior design secret nobody posts.
Three heights of light. Not one. A single overhead light kills every living room. Low light from table lamps and candles. Mid light from floor lamps and sconces. High light from pendants but never on their own. Layer all three and your room suddenly has the depth every luxury living room has.
Warm bulbs only. 2700K to 3000K. This one lighting tip alone changes your entire home decor and costs almost nothing. Anything higher and you’re living in a dentist’s office.
Then light where nobody expects it. Inside shelves. Behind the TV. Inside a potted plant. That glow you see in every room you save and can’t explain — this is literally how designers do it.
We don’t start with the sofa. We start with how a room feels when the sun goes down. That’s why expensive rooms look expensive.
Save this. Tonight put a warm lamp behind your sofa. Turn off the big light. You’ll see it immediately.
Part 1 of my designer secrets series. Part 2 drops soon. Follow so you don’t miss it.

Most people think they need better habits.
Or more storage.
Or more discipline.

But if your Sundays feel chaotic, it’s rarely about effort.

It’s about friction.

The layout that doesn’t flow.
The systems that don’t support you.
The small daily tasks that feel heavier than they should.

Design isn’t just about how a home looks in photos.
It’s about how it carries you through the unglamorous hours.

The right design makes even laundry feel lighter.

If you believe your home should support your real life — not just the highlight reel — you’re in the right place.
