My name is Jennifer Desrochers (she/her) and I live in Ottawa, Canada, which is un-ceded and un-surrendered Algonquin Anishinaabe territory. I'm in a really exciting place in my spiritual journey where I feel very surrounded by love and light in a freedom which is letting me experience the Divine and connect with myself in a way that feels new and grounded and true for me. I have dug myself out of
some constricting and patriarchal teachings to find myself with my feet planted on the earth and holding space for new ways to live in Spirit, and for who I see Jesus is really all about. And it is here that the Divine Feminine, Goddess, Mother Earth has shown me that I do matter and I have value and worth despite what patriarchy has taught us, that I am enough just as I am, and that I can trust myself, my inner wisdom, and my intuition. I've been incorporating some witchy practices into my life - feminist, earth-based spiritual practices that help me live more mindfully. And I'm still on this journey of coming home to myself, living full of love and light, and having fun along the way. I've learned to crochet and I'm a bit addicted now lol! I find crocheting is very relaxing, mindful, and a way to let my creative side out. I'm a bit of an introvert (ok, I'm borderline a hermit lol!) and thought doing some markets and connecting with like-minded folks would be a good way to get me out of my house (and maybe even pay for my yarn and crystal habit!). Taking care of the earth is important to me. I love music, reading, camping, walking in the forest, biking, yoga, being with my family and friends, and spending time in the backyard. I have two amazing teens, an adorable mini golden doodle, and the most amazing partner in life and love that anyone could ask for.
