Bear Cove Honey
We are a new family owned honey farm based in Port Hardy BC. Our hope is to provide both locals and visitors with a reliable source of high quality raw honey. All our honey is produced locally from several colonies we have on North Vancouver Island. Our bees forage on many local plants such as Dandilions and Blackberries but their main nectar source is Fireweed. Fireweed nectar creates a highly desirable honey, it is light in colour and has a mild buttery taste We have also started to make some beeswax products such as candles, soaps, and lip balms.
