Kim Conarroe (Nee:Fiddler) is a proud Metis Woman who was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Kim has strong Metis roots in Batoche, Fish Creek and the Red River. She lives in Spruce Home with her husband, Shawn, and has one daughter (Haley), and one granddaughter (Willow). Kim has been a teacher since 1999, she has taught in the far north in Wollaston Lake, in North Battleford and Prince Albert. Currently she is a Kindergarten Michif teacher in Prince Albert.

Kim is a Self-taught beader. She began when she picked up a Poppy kit from the Western Region 2 Metis office in Prince Albert. It took her three weeks to beadher first poppy. After she completed her first poppy, she decided that she wanted to try a Metis style five petal flower. That is when she found her niche. She loves to create new bead and colour combinations for each flower. She has taken colours from different Metis sashes that she has seen to create what she calls "Sash Pins." The flower that Kim is most proud of is her "Truth and Reconciliation Flower." It is an orange and white flower. The white represents new beginnings and hope for the future. Her favourite flower to bead is the one that she calls "Candy," the beads look like candy and is a technique that beaders call "bead soup." You never know what the flower will look like.

Kim also beads four petal flowers, strawberries, blueberries, Bumblebees, hearts and much more! Custom orders are also available.
Through her beadwork, Kim enjoys sharing her Metis culture with others as she attends Artisan Markets and ships orders across Canada and outside the country as well. Her beadwork has been shipped to Ontario, Manitoba, throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Texas and New Zealand.
