As of today all of our Fall Bulbs are on sale for 35% off regular price. It's almost time to start planting your Fall Bulbs!

All of our sales are still in effect including decor, seeds, flagstone and all of our nursery stock including perennials and fruit trees are still on Fall Clearance for 35% off regular price. Some trees are almost sold out for the season.

We have had many people take advantage of our fall Clearance sale and many have asked us if its still OK to plant them.

The answer is yes! Now is the perfect time to plant. With some colder weather behind us already the plants have begun to shut down and will focus their remaining growth in the roots of the plant, taking up water and nutrients they will need for the winter.

If you do plant in the fall make sure to water right up until the ground freezes. Picture a solid block for ice around the roots of the plant and you should have good success with the plant.

Congratulations to these junior farmers on their winning 61 pound pumpkin this past weekend at the Spruce Home Fall Festival!

The vegetable plants were bought from us back in the spring and we are truly amazed at how well they grew!

The variety is called Big Max Pumpkin. They are considered heavy producers of large size pumpkins up to 100 pounds. They are good for Jack O'Lanterns and can be used in cooking. Clearly they can do well here.

Its really amazing to hear about or see the end result of our plants, veggies and seeds (including potatoes and onions)!

Believe it or not, but Fall is a busy time for most Garden Centres and Greenhouses. And not just getting ready for the winter slumber.

Most of our suppliers have staggered fall ordering deadlines for next year's products. We started compiling our orders back in August. We have submitted a couple and are working on finalizing the remainder.

Our suppliers offer various plants in an assortment of sizes and states of growth. Like this year, we will be offering plants grown from seed, un-rooted cuttings, rooted cuttings (aka liners), retail ready products, first year seedlings, and retail ready nursery stock.

After more than a year and a half of endless searching for suppliers offering what we are looking to carry, we are fortunate enough to have been set up as a customer with numerous suppliers.

As most of you who have visited us may know already, we strive to offer different plants, flowers, veggies etc from what the big box stores offer, and even what other retail sellers offer. We love different. We love unique. We love rare. We love hard to find. In short, we love a good challenge.

We felt we should let our valued customers know that if there is something you are interested in, looking for, have had a tough time finding, or just something you once saw and were wanting to try, don't be afraid to reach out to us and let us know.

Plant people love plants, and every year there are so many new introductions out there it is overwhelming!

While we can't guarantee we will be able to find it, we certainly love a challenge and are willing to see if we can find a supplier.

One example is many of you asked for Angels Trumpets (an annual flower). Out of our entire network of national and international global companies supplying young plants, cuttings and seeds to greenhouses, we have struggled to find a supplier in North America for this one plant. We are still searching and might just find them.

So please feel free to leave a comment below this post, message us with your hard to find requests here on Facebook messenger, or email us: [email protected]

Our Fall Events poster has been edited to correct some typos and incorrect wording regarding our upcoming Plant Bingo. ( i.e. rounds vs. games and number of rounds per game)

The information is now correct. Sorry for the confusion.

There is also no limit to how many cards you can buy, and we will have some bingo dabbers available if needed. Bring a lawn chair if you want something comfortable to sit on besides the greenhouse shelving.

We do have a porto-potty on site if needed.
