This antique oak side table came in with heavy staining buried deep in the veneer. After a careful oxidic acid treatment to pull the stain out, we refinished the top and colour‑matched it to the original legs, which only needed a few gentle touch‑ups. Now the whole piece looks cohesive, clean, and ready for its next chapter.

Some stains tell a story… this one just overstayed its welcome.
This little white oak side table came in with a deep black mark from a plant that had sat in the same spot for years. With careful stripping, multiple rounds of oxalic acid, and a very light touch on the thin veneer, we were able to pull the stain out and bring the top back to life. Now it’s looking good as new and ready for many more years of use.

We recently had the honour of refinishing a baptismal font for a local church. The goal was clear: create a durable finish that could stand up to regular use without the heavy, overly thick coating it had before.
