🤍 As many of you know, we recently made the move from Central Alberta to beautiful Kimberley, BC. 🤍 While it’s been an exciting new chapter for us, it also means that this Saturday’s Bentley Farmers’ Market will be our very last market.

Saturday, August 1, 2026 | 2–4 PM

With our inventory running low and the long trips back and forth between BC and Red Deer becoming too much, we’ve made the difficult decision to close this chapter.

To thank everyone who has supported Jay’s Inspirations over the years, all remaining market stock will be 30% OFF this Saturday at the Bentley Farmers’ Market. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

I truly can’t express how grateful we are for every purchase, every kind word, every custom order, and every person who stopped by our booth over the years. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know, and you’ve helped turn our passion into something truly special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

While this is our last market, the Bentley Farmers’ Market continues every Saturday from 2–4 PM until the end of September. It’s a great place to visit, with an amazing group of vendors and something for everyone — delicious food, fresh baking, clothing, handmade decor, unique gifts, cookies, donuts, fresh lemonade, and so much more. Any weekend is a great weekend to support local!

🤍Well… that’s a wrap! 🎁Literally.

I just finished wrapping up my last custom orders here in Red Deer, and now it’s time to start packing away my craft room as we prepare for our move to Kimberley, BC.

It’s a bittersweet moment, but mostly one filled with gratitude. I’ve been so fortunate to spend so many years creating from home, meeting so many wonderful people at markets, and helping bring your ideas to life. Every purchase, every custom order, every kind word, and every bit of support has meant more than you’ll ever know. You made this dream possible, and I’ll always be thankful.

The good news is that Jay’s Inspirations isn’t going anywhere! If you don’t mind a little shipping, I’d love to keep creating for you. I’ll update my website as soon as we’re settled in Kimberley.

In the meantime, until our house officially sells, you’ll still find me at the Bentley Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 2:00–4:00 PM, with 20–30% off all in-stock items. I’d love to see you one more time!

☀️🤍It’s that time of year again… time to get our decks and outdoor spaces looking beautiful for summer ☀️🤍

There’s just something special about authentic Barnwood that has been weathered by the elements. Every piece tells a story, and no two signs are ever exactly alike.

All of my Barnwood signs are carefully chalk painted and sealed with a non-yellowing UV Varathane to help keep them looking beautiful for years to come — whether they’re hanging on your deck, in your cabin, at the lake, or in your home.

This “Deck Rules” sign joined my lineup last year and it has already become a favourite again this season! I absolutely love seeing these pieces become part of your outdoor spaces and summer memories.

If you’d like to see my Barnwood pieces in person, I’ll be at the Bentley Farmers Market this Saturday May 16 from 2–4 PM. It’s such a fantastic market with over 100 vendors this year — the perfect place to shop local, support small businesses, and spend the afternoon exploring all the amazing local talent.

These farmhouse toilet paper boxes have been a customer favourite for years and they’re both cute AND practical! Perfect for clearing the clutter off your bathroom counter while adding a cozy rustic touch.
