Prairie Lily Stitches

Prairie Lily Stitches Quality custom sewn goods you’ll love to use time and again. I pretty much always have a few projects on the go and it's great to have somewhere to share them.

This page is primarily for sharing what Dressed By Les is up to, where I will be for shows and to share new things I have been sewing.

A little peek at what I’m working on for 2026.
Prints, textiles, returning favourites, and a brand new design in process.

Some pieces are available now, others are returning later in the year, and a few are completely new. Nothing is launching today, this is simply a look inside the studio and the ideas coming together behind the scenes.

Thanks for being here! I’m excited to share more as the year unfolds.

A gentle return to my workspace this week.

Slowly easing back into my workspace this week. I’m still healing and taking things one step at a time, but it feels good to be here again. Even in small ways.

I won’t be sewing full tilt for a little while yet, but it feels good to be back among the materials, tools, and routines I’ve missed.

Thank you for your patience and kindness while I recover. I’m looking forward to sharing more as I’m able.

I wanted to share a quick update: I’ll be stepping completely away for a little while while I go in for surgery and take the time I need to rest and recover. This is a planned pause, and I’m giving myself the space to heal properly so I can come back feeling stronger and more focused.

I expect to be off for about 4-6 weeks, though I don’t have a firm return date yet - I’ll ease back in when it feels right. The website will be closed for the first 2-3 weeks while I focus on recovery, and then I’ll slowly reopen as I’m able.

I’m especially looking forward to getting back to the Regina Farmers’ Market when the time is right. Being there is one of my favourite parts of this work, and I can’t wait to return when I’m fully ready.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your support . I’ll see you soon, with hopefully renewed energy and many plans.

If you need anything in the meantime, feel free to send a message. I’ll reply when I’m able.

Today is the final day of the vinyl sell‑off.

These bags and accessories have been part of my work for a long time, and this is their official farewell as I move more fully into natural fibres. Everything that’s left is priced at near cost until midnight, and once it’s gone, it won’t be coming back.

If you’ve been thinking about grabbing a vinyl piece, this is your last chance.
Thank you for supporting this transition and for being part of this next chapter with me.

The clear boxy bags are officially on their way out as I retire the last of my vinyl materials. These little rectangular organizers are lightweight, wipeable, and surprisingly handy — perfect for makeup, chargers, travel minis, first‑aid kits, craft supplies, or tossing into a bigger bag so you can actually see what you packed.

All remaining clear boxy bags are priced at near cost until they’re gone. Once they sell out, they won’t be coming back as I shift fully into natural fibres.

If you’ve been thinking about grabbing one (or choosing your favourite print), now’s the time.

The Cabaret Crossbody: stadium‑friendly, hands‑free, cute… and retiring.

This vinyl version is part of the textiles I’m phasing out, so the remaining bags are priced at cost until they’re gone. Designed to meet small‑bag policies at event venues (yes, even the stadium), it’s the perfect grab‑and‑go for concerts, games, festivals, and fast‑moving days.

It holds your phone, wallet, keys, lip balm, and the extras you pretend you don’t carry but always do — all without slowing you down.

Once the vinyl Cabaret Crossbody Bags sell out, that’s it.
The natural‑fibre era takes over from here.

The vinyl sell‑off is happening… but the natural fibres era is very much alive over here.
If you’re only seeing the retiring pieces, here’s your reminder that my main lineup is built from waxed cotton canvas, cotton canvas, and soft cotton accessories — the pieces that are sticking around.
Here’s what else I make:
• Harvest Bags
• Echo Backpacks
• Cabaret Convertible Bags
• Card Clutches
• Lanyards + coin pouches
• Jewellery bags

These are my natural‑fibre staples, and the collection will keep growing as I build out this next chapter.

So while the vinyl pieces clear out, this is your nudge to explore the rest of the lineup — the bags and accessories that are here to stay.

Meet the little clutch that minds its business and carries yours. These vinyl card clutches have been a market favourite for years — the perfect grab‑and‑go holder for your ID, debit card, and the handful of loyalty cards you actually use.

They’re practical, giftable, and honestly… kind of adorable.
And this is the last time you’ll see them in vinyl. I’m retiring petroleum‑based textiles and moving fully into natural fibres, so these are priced at cost to clear out the final batch.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
