Rainy days in the studio hit different… especially when Ophelia decides she’s in her spooky‑season era.
While the weather was out there doing its dramatic thing, we were inside stitching up a custom Halloween quilt that is serving cozy‑creepy perfection.

Pumpkins? Check. Bats? Obviously.
A little witchy flair because it was raining and my caffeine was fighting for its life? Absolutely.

Ophelia behaved. I did not.
But the quilt turned out gorgeous — as it should.

🧵🔥 Today in the studio: I wrangled a quilt top like it was trying to escape the ranch.

There’s something about taking a pile of fabric, a little chaos, and a whole lot of attitude… and stitching it into something warm, cozy, and ready to outlive all of us. That’s the magic — and the mayhem — of quilt‑making around here.

This one came together with a few deep breaths, a couple “bless your heart” moments, and the kind of determination only a quilter (or a Dutton) understands. But she’s done, she’s gorgeous, and she’s got that Sew It Goes charm stitched right through her.

If you’ve got a quilt top that needs taming, drop it off at The Fabric Cupboard or book a studio appointment. I’ll handle the wild ones. 💖🧵
