Sorry Iā€™ve been away-
I was busy hand delivering my mail club print to a remote ghost town here in the Kootenayā€™s. šŸ‘»
I got caught up in the energy: decided to stay and haunt the place for a spell.

I have some exciting plans this summer involving Sandon B.C. - specifically their historic power plant, and the Nikola Tesla generator thatā€™s been producing power there for 129 years nowā€¦

This is the second year Iā€™ve worked on my ā€˜Springtailsā€™ collection- where I rush out into the woods to snap photos of morels,
then make art using the photos I took of the morels,
and then taking that art back out into the woods to pose it next to the very morels that inspired the piece,
And then I eat the morels.
Itā€™s all very fast paced and needs precise timing to work, but Iā€™ve managed to pull it off again this year šŸ™‚
This was the first morel I found this season- a nice looking blonde, and the mushroom I used as inspiration for this piece- albeit from a slightly different angle.
And it was delicious.
