Creative Women's Week Luxury crafting retreats across Canada + year-round virtual retreats through Creative Women's Collective. No cooking. No cleaning. No logistics. Just sayin’. 😉

We bring creative women together to create, connect, laugh, and feel truly spoiled. 💕
” You’ve spent years creating for everyone else — now it’s time to create for you. Creative Women’s Week™ is a full-week, all-inclusive crafting retreat designed around our Create and Be Cared For™ method — where creativity meets genuine care, and every detail whispers, “You deserve this.”

Imagine arriving, exhaling, and not lifting a thing. Just cozy tables with plenty of space, 24-hour crop time, thoughtful classes and make-and-takes, helpers on hand, optional reflexology or massage, favorite snacks at the ready, and evenings by the lake that feel like a warm hug. You’ll finish the projects you’ve been carrying for years — and leave with a heart that feels full again. This isn’t a “girls’ trip.” It’s a gentle reset for the woman who’s always giving. You’ll be welcomed into a ready-made community (our private Facebook group starts the laughter long before day one), craft alongside like-minded women who get it, and head home restored — seen, celebrated, and reminded that your creativity isn’t a luxury. It’s part of who you are. If you’ve been thinking, “Maybe next year” — consider this your permission slip. Choose you this year. Join us for Creative Women’s Week™ — where you’ll create, be cared for, and remember your worth.

🎉 Hope, BC — SOLD OUT
🎉 Eagle Bay, BC — SOLD OUT
🎉 Alberta 1 — SOLD OUT
🎉 Manitoba — SOLD OUT
🎉 Saskatchewan — SOLD OUT

That leaves just TWO retreats with space available:

🩵 Alberta 2 — 9 spots available

And if you're looking at those 9 Alberta spots and wondering whether that retreat is happening — YES! Alberta 2 is already a confirmed GO! 🙌

You don't need to wait for more registrations before making your plans. The retreat is happening!

Creative Women’s Week has an incredibly high return rate. Once ladies experience a week together, they tend to come back year after year, which means openings for new ladies can be hard to come by.

If you've been thinking about attending, now is a great time to grab one of the remaining spots.

Come create. Come laugh. Come make new friends. Come spend an entire week doing something for YOU. 🩵

Alberta or Vancouver Island — which one will I see you at?

A little personal update from me. 💛

I'm continuing to work through a major family crisis that has required a lot of my attention over the past couple of weeks.

Most of you who know me know how quickly I normally respond to messages, emails and questions, so I want to apologize for how tardy I've been lately. If you're still waiting to hear from me, please know I haven't forgotten about you.

I'm back in the office and working every day again, but there are still quite a few things up in the air personally. If I'm a little slower than usual responding over the next while, I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Most importantly, Creative Women’s Week, all of our upcoming events, and the Creative Women’s Collective are moving forward! 💛

I'm really looking forward to getting back to sharing everything we have coming up and spending my days surrounded by this incredible community of creative women.

Thank you for giving me a little extra grace while I find my footing. 💛

🍿 You've seen the finished snack table... but how long do you think it takes to get it looking like this? 😂

Before every Creative Women's Week retreat, I ask you what snacks and drinks you'd like to have during the week.

Then comes the shopping, hauling it all in, unpacking everything and turning a mountain of everyone's requests into the snack station you see here.

Somehow it all eventually finds a home. 😂

⏱️ So take a guess: How long do you think it takes me to set up the entire snack station?

Drop your guess in the comments before you read everyone else's! 👀

I'll come back and reveal the answer later. 😁

📸 CRAFT ROOM SHOW & TELL!

Disclaimer: This isn't my craft room. I'm looking for new ideas from all of you to make mine and each others better.

I want to see the smartest thing in your craft room.

Not necessarily the prettiest.
Not necessarily the most expensive.

The thing that WORKS so ridiculously well that other crafters need to see it.

Maybe it's storage.
Something you've repurposed.
Something your husband built.
A dollar-store solution.
An IKEA find.
Or some crazy little system you invented yourself.

Post ONE photo in the comments and tell us what we're looking at.

Then go snoop through everyone else's photos. 😂

I have a feeling we're all going to leave here with ideas.

✨ So Much More Than Just a Craft Table! ✨

One of the things that makes Creative Women's Week different is all the tools available for you to use throughout the week—at no extra charge!

🖨️ Print gorgeous large-format photos up to 17" x 19" to frame or display at home.

📸 Print beautiful 4" x 6" photos for your scrapbook layouts and albums.

✂️ Try out an electronic cutting machine, manual die-cut machine, overhead scanner, photo and film scanner, paper trimmer, and more. It's the perfect opportunity to test different tools before deciding if you'd like to purchase one for yourself.

🎞️ Some ladies even bring boxes of old negatives and slides to scan during the week, saving themselves hundreds of dollars compared to having them professionally digitized.

Whether you're creating, organizing memories, or simply trying out new equipment, you're welcome to use it all while you're here. My goal is to give you access to tools that inspire creativity without you having to own every gadget yourself.

💜 Which tool would you be most excited to try first?

💙 This... this is why I love true lakeside retreats.

This is the view that greets me the moment I step outside the craft room doors at Manhattan Beach in Manitoba.

Every single time I walk outside, I find myself pausing for just a moment to take it all in.

I'm not going to jump into the water.

I leave my kayak at home.

But there is something about being surrounded by a beautiful lake that settles my soul in a way few places can. The fresh air, the peaceful water, the sound of the breeze... it has a way of reminding you to slow down.

When you've been concentrating on a project for a while, it's amazing to be able to step outside, breathe in a view like this, and then head back inside feeling refreshed and inspired.

To me, that's one of the greatest gifts of a true lakeside retreat. The crafting is wonderful... but the setting becomes part of the experience too.

💜 What about you? Does being by the water help you relax, recharge, or spark your creativity?

🤔 Let's have an honest conversation...

We've all been to events we've absolutely loved... and maybe one or two that we wouldn't attend again.

Without naming names or locations...

What is one thing that would make you decide not to return to a crafting retreat?

Maybe it was:
🪑 An uncomfortable crafting space.
🍽️ The food.
💡 Poor lighting.
🔌 Not enough power.
😕 A disorganized schedule.
🎁 Not enough value for the cost.
🙋 A lack of communication.
🎨 Not enough time to craft.
💜 Something else entirely.

As an event organizer, I genuinely enjoy hearing what matters most to crafters. Every bit of feedback helps me create an even better experience for the ladies who attend Creative Women's Week.

👇 If you could change ONE thing about a retreat you've attended, what would it be? (No need to name the retreat—let's keep it about ideas, not organizations.) 😊

⛑️ One of the less glamorous parts of preparing for a retreat...

Every couple of years, you'll find me back in a First Aid classroom.

It's not because I expect something to happen—it's because I want to be prepared if it does.

One of the requirements of my insurance is that someone at every Creative Women's Week retreat has current First Aid certification. For me, that's an easy commitment to make.

Most of the behind-the-scenes work of planning a retreat isn't very exciting. It's things like insurance, emergency plans, food safety, venue requirements, transportation, equipment maintenance, and yes... renewing my First Aid certification.

These are the things I hope I'll never need.

But if one of our ladies ever does need help, I want to know I can respond quickly and confidently while waiting for emergency services if necessary.

It's just one more way I work to make sure you can relax, create, laugh, and enjoy your week knowing that a lot of thought has gone into your experience—both the fun parts and the important ones. 💜

👇 There are hundreds of little details that go into making a retreat run smoothly. What part of the planning process would you like me to share next?

🔍 I need your help!

How do YOU organize your stamps so you can actually find what you're looking for?

I have so many stamp sets with a variety of images that when I need something specific—like a button, teacup, bird, or flower—I end up flipping through dozens (okay... maybe hundreds 😆) of stamp sets trying to find it.

There has to be a better way! Maybe something like this AI generated photo I created??

I'd love a system where I could simply type "button" and instantly see every stamp set that contains one, complete with a photo of the entire set.

So tell me...

💜 Do you use Evernote?
💜 Airtable?
💜 Notion?
💜 A spreadsheet?
💜 A stamp inventory app?
💜 Or are you like me and rely on the "I know I've seen it somewhere!" filing system? 😂

👇 I'd love to know what you use, what you love about it, and if you'd recommend it. Bonus points if you can share a screenshot or photo of your system—I know I'm not the only one looking for a better way!

🍀 Let's talk about lucky retreat wins!

Every crafter remembers that prize...

The one you couldn't believe they called your name for! 😄

Maybe it was a die-cutting machine, a beautiful paper collection, a gift basket overflowing with crafty goodies, or one of the most coveted prizes at our retreats... 25% off next year's registration! 🎉

That prize always creates a little buzz because everyone knows exactly what it means—another amazing week of crafting for less!

📸 Pictured here is Judy, who was all smiles after winning the 25% off registration prize at our last retreat. I think her expression says it all! 😊

For me, it's never just about the prize. It's that moment when your ticket is called and the whole room erupts in cheers. Whether it's something big or small, everyone celebrates together, and that's part of what makes retreat prizes so much fun.

👇 What's the luckiest or most memorable prize you've ever won at a crafting retreat? I'd love to hear your stories! 🍀🎁
