Creative Women's Week

Creative Women's Week You’ve spent years creating for everyone else — now it’s time to create for you. No cooking. No cleaning. No logistics. It’s part of who you are. Just sayin’. 😉

“All-inclusive, week-long crafting retreats across Canada designed to help creative women rest, connect, and remember their worth. ✨
Every detail handled — you just arrive, create, and be cared for. 💕
” Creative Women’s Week™ is a full-week, all-inclusive crafting retreat designed around our Create and Be Cared For™ method — where creativity meets genuine care, and every detail whispers, “You dese

rve this.”

Imagine arriving, exhaling, and not lifting a thing. Just cozy tables with plenty of space, 24-hour crop time, thoughtful classes and make-and-takes, helpers on hand, optional reflexology or massage, favorite snacks at the ready, and evenings by the lake that feel like a warm hug. You’ll finish the projects you’ve been carrying for years — and leave with a heart that feels full again. This isn’t a “girls’ trip.” It’s a gentle reset for the woman who’s always giving. You’ll be welcomed into a ready-made community (our private Facebook group starts the laughter long before day one), craft alongside like-minded women who get it, and head home restored — seen, celebrated, and reminded that your creativity isn’t a luxury. If you’ve been thinking, “Maybe next year” — consider this your permission slip. Choose you this year. Join us for Creative Women’s Week™ — where you’ll create, be cared for, and remember your worth.

Let's talk about Sheri... 😂

When Sheri arrived at retreat, she told me she had never won a prize at a retreat before.

Never.

Not one.

I believed her... for about five minutes. 🤣

Then she started winning the daily games.

And winning some more.

By the end of the week, she had managed to take home the grand prize—an Epson PM-400 photo printer!

Never wins prizes, my ass. 😂❤️

I think we can officially retire that story now.

Every retreat group seems to have one person like this. The one who somehow wins every draw, every game, every door prize, and every contest.

So tell me...

Who is the prize magnet in your friend group? Tag them below! 👇😂❤️

I'll go first... I packed for retreat like I was moving there permanently. 😂❤️

Behind the scenes... 👀

One of the things I do for every Creative Women's Week event is create detailed diagrams of both the crafting room and the accommodations.

Every table seat is mapped out.

Every room assignment is mapped out.

Then everything is shared in the private Facebook group before the event.

Why?

Because I want every woman to know exactly where she's sitting, who she's sitting with, where she's sleeping, and where she's going before she arrives.

It also gives everyone time to review the plans and make sure everything is exactly as requested.

If I've accidentally missed a seating request, misunderstood a roommate request, or made an error somewhere along the way, there is still time to course correct before anyone packs their vehicle.

My goal is for you to arrive feeling excited and confident—not wondering where you're supposed to be.

Sometimes the little details behind the scenes take a surprising amount of time, but I believe they're worth it. ❤️

Maybe you don't even care and would sit literally anywhere?
How important is it to you to know your table assignment before you arrive? 👇

Let's settle an important crafting question... 👀

If one of your crafting tools broke today, which one would you replace immediately?

Not eventually.

Not when it goes on sale.

Not after you've had time to think about it.

I mean the one you'd be replacing before the day was over. 😂

For me, it's my Epson PictureMate PM-400.

I haven't had photos printed at a lab since I invested in one years ago. The convenience of being able to print photos whenever I want, whenever inspiration strikes, has completely changed the way I scrapbook.

If mine quit working tomorrow, I'd be ordering another one immediately. 😆

Now it's your turn...

What tool would you replace immediately if it broke? 👇❤️

Tell us what it is and why you can't live without it!

Let's talk table space! 👀

The standard at a Creative Women's Week event I strive for is 12 feet of table space per lady. These tables were from the most recent Saskatchewan event.

I've had more than a few ladies tell me they've been completely spoiled by it. 😂

Once you've spread out your projects, tools, snacks, drink, tote bags, and the random supplies that seem to multiply throughout the week, it's hard to go back!

While not every venue can accommodate 12-foot tables, I always try to maximize the space available because I know how important it is to your retreat experience.

So now I'm curious...

What is the least amount of table space you would accept at a retreat venue?

👇 Cast your vote:

❤️ 12 feet (don't make me share!)
🥰 8 feet
😮 6 feet
😂 I'll make any amount work!

Or tell me your ideal table space in the comments! 👇❤️

What part of a crafting retreat can you not explain to someone who has never attended one? ❤️

For me, it's hard to explain what it feels like to look up from what I'm doing and see ladies dancing, chatting, snacking, laughing, singing, creating, and genuinely enjoying themselves.

There are moments during every event when quietly I stop and take it all in.

The friendships.
The conversations.
The joy.
The memories being made.

And I think to myself,

"Holy crap... I created this."

Not the projects. Not the tables. Not the venue.

The experience.

It is incredibly special to me to bring women together and create a space where they can relax, connect, laugh until their cheeks hurt, and leave with memories that last long after the event is over.

That feeling never gets old. ❤️

So tell me...

What part of attending a retreat would be impossible to explain to someone who has never been to one? 👇❤️

How early do you think planning starts for a Creative Women's Week event? 👀

A month before?

Three months before?

Six months before?

A year before?

Most people are surprised when they find out how much planning goes into a retreat before the first table is set up and the first lady walks through the door.

Venues, room assignments, food, prizes, vendors, table layouts, welcome gifts, daily table gifts, drinks, shopping, activities, supplies, registrations, and about a thousand other details all have to come together to create the experience you enjoy.

So I'm curious...

How far in advance do YOU think planning starts for a Creative Women's Week event?

Drop your guess in the comments! 👇❤️

Let's have an honest moment... 😂

How many of you pack half your craft room for retreat, only to come home realizing you never even opened half of what you brought?

You know the drill...

✔ 14 paper collections
✔ Every stamp set you own
✔ Three totes of tools
✔ Mixed media supplies
✔ Alcohol markers
✔ Ink pads in every color known to mankind

And then somehow you spend most of the week working on two projects. 😂

One of the things I love about Creative Women's Week is that you don't have to bring absolutely everything. Creative Women's Week brings stamp pads, stamps, mixed media products, alcohol markers, and all kinds of creative goodies for the ladies to borrow, share, and experiment with throughout the week.

Plus, there are Creative Partners on-site if you discover you absolutely must have something while you're there. 😍

And let's not forget one of my favorite things about crafters...

How many times has someone asked, "Does anybody have black thread?" and before they've even finished the sentence, six women are holding it up in the air? 😂

That's because crafters are some of the most supportive, generous women you'll ever meet.

Now tell me...

What is the ONE item you always pack for retreat and never use that you are going to leave home next time? 👇❤️

Let's play a little crafting fantasy game... 👀❤️

You have $100 to build the perfect prize basket.

What are you putting in it?

Would you fill it with:
✨ Paper collections
✨ Adhesive
✨ Stamp sets
✨ Dies
✨ Embellishments
✨ Organization tools
✨ Gift cards
✨ Vinyl
✨ Cricut supplies
✨ Creative Memories goodies

Or are you spending the entire $100 on one amazing item? 😂

There are no wrong answers here. I'm always looking for new prize ideas, and you ladies are some of the best enablers I know!

Drop your dream prize basket in the comments and tell us exactly what you're buying with your $100. 👇❤️

One of my favorite things to see is when groups of ladies attend Creative Women's Week together. ❤️

Sure, they're coming to craft, but they're also making time for friendship, laughter, and spending quality time together.

There is something special about stepping away from the responsibilities of everyday life and sharing a week filled with creativity, conversations, encouragement, and memories.

And can we talk about this group for a minute? 😍

They noticed and took advantage of this PERFECT backdrop for their photo. Turned out perfect with their amazing birthday shirts!!

These are the moments that make me smile.
