IAFF Local 80 is at the 5th Annual YXE Fitness Festival this weekend at Gordie Howe Sports Complex, cheering on Team Fire! 🔥

The weekend brings emergency services together through fitness, teamwork and friendly competition, while raising funds for mental health initiatives and KidSport Saskatoon.

This free event is at Gordie Howe Sports Complex from October 3–4, 2026.

We’re also proud to stand alongside our emergency service partners as Saskatoon Police Service honours two of their own during the event.

Here’s a look back at the 2nd Annual Bridge City Charity Cup - Battle of the Badges, where the Saskatoon Fire Department came out on top with a 4–3 victory over the Saskatoon Police Service! 🚒🏆

TOMORROW the Saskatoon Fire Department vs Saskatoon Police Service in a charity hockey game, presented by River Valley Ag Services

When: September 27, 2026
Doors open: 12:00pm
Puck drops: 1:00pm
Where: Merlis Belsher Place

Before the game enjoy live music by Cooper Tropeau, Fire truck and police vehicle displays, Sparky the mascot and his friends, plus C95 and Cancer foundation will have booths set up!
