How exciting is this? My first experience is now live. I had the pleasure of joining from the *Network = Net Worth* about the story behind Poli's Creations Canada.
In the episode, I share how my original hand-drawn artwork became wearable art and custom scarf designs, and how my background as a social scientist continues to shape the way I think about people, stories, relationships, and opportunity.
What started as a creative passion has opened doors I never expected, from creating scarves to developing custom textile designs for organizations, conferences, and meaningful events.

“The Elegant One” earned its name because I always imagined it in a more refined setting, as a piece that brings softness, grace, and quiet presence to what someone is wearing. This design began with the flower at its centre and expanded outward until it filled the page. I began by sketching the form in ink, then slowly built the composition outward, filling its spaces with colour and texture through ink and coloured pencils. To me, this piece represents grace and graceful movement. It has a gentler tone than some of my other designs, with layered sections that create depth and invite a closer look.

What makes it especially meaningful to me is how naturally it translated into something wearable. I did not initially think this design will be transformed into a scarf, but when I started tying it in different ways, I was pleasantly surprised. It creates a soft and elegant frame round the shoulders, with the flowers seeming to fall exactly where they should be.

At Poli’s Creations, my motto is “Wrap yourself in art,” and this scarf feels like it clearly expresses that idea. Professionally printed as a 65 x 180 cm polyester chiffon satin scarf, it has a soft, flowing, silk-like feel and works beautifully as wearable art with a softer tone, especially when paired with black, navy, grey, or cream. “The Impulsive One” began, quite fittingly, on impulse.
I started drawing squares of different sizes and filling them with whatever came to mind: hearts, lines, shapes, movement, and colour. Created as one flowing hand-drawn composition using pens, markers, and coloured pencils, each little section became its own small world.

The name also reflects the scarf’s journey. When I was concept-testing designs with friends and family, this one was not originally included. I ended up adding it into the rotation impulsively, and it became one of my personal favourites.

To me, this design represents energy, freedom, and framed memories. I love how each “window” carries its own mood while still forming one bold and expressive piece.

What makes it especially meaningful to me is the way the bright colours lift my mood. I also love the hidden hearts in the design. Depending on how the scarf is worn, they appear and disappear.

“The Refreshing One” began as a creative experiment.

I was playing with new pens, markers, and coloured pencils, wanting to create something bright, joyful, and full of movement. Inspired by flowers, nature, and colourful dotted details, this hand-drawn design came together intuitively and ended up becoming one of my most popular scarves.

At ’s Creations, my motto is “Wrap yourself in art,” and this design feels like exactly that. What began as playful creativity became a professionally printed 65 x 180 cm polyester chiffon satin scarf with a soft, flowing, silk-like feel. It can be worn as a neck scarf, shawl, or statement accessory, and I love seeing how differently it comes to life each time it is styled.
