Something about seeing all my artwork up on the wall in a retail space just feels ~*correct*~

Here at the Q***r Market til 4pm! I have a freshly printed slumber fox on live edge spalted birch slice, and marked down the nonbinary bookclub reduction linocuts, and giving away items throughout the day for random acts of kindness.

The Artist behind the Fox

Theresa Murphy is an artist based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She has been creating her whole life and made heartfelt art as gifts for loved ones, and it was in June 2018 she started sharing her art with others as a working passion.

Working in mediums of graphite, coloured pencil, ink, watercolour, digital painting and most recently fell in love with printmaking. A jane-of-all-trades taking workshops and classes of interest over the years Theresa has created sculpture, clothing and costumes, jewelry and accessories, book binding, collage and design.

Theresa currently lives in St. John's with her supportive partner and beagle-mix, Foxy. She tries to create as much as possible, with inspiration everywhere - food, local culture, nature, talented friends and other amazing artists, writers and creators. She also enjoys reading with her awesome women's book club, drinking tea or a pint, and supporting local, sustainable and socially responsible organizations.
