What an incredible Farmers’ Days weekend! Thank you to everyone who stopped in, shared a smile, grabbed a coffee, or chatted with me about your home projects.

I’m so grateful to be part of this community and to grow alongside it. Dara’s has always been about connection, and this weekend reminded me just how special Stony Plain is.

Alongside the Coffee Bar you know and love, I’ve always offered window coverings, custom furniture, and interior design services, but those parts of my business haven’t always been in the spotlight.

This year, I’m excited to bring more attention to the work I’m most passionate about, including a big milestone: Dara’s is now an authorized Hunter Douglas and Alta Window Fashions dealer located west of Edmonton.

Farmers’ Days Rodeo and Exhibition is almost here, and it always brings back such special memories for me. When I first opened Dara’s in 2016, this weekend was one of the first times I truly felt the heartbeat of Downtown Stony Plain… the parade, the families, the laughter, the energy.

I’m so proud to still be here, front and centre, celebrating alongside our community every year.

Whether you’re watching the parade, exploring the midway, or visiting local shops, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello.

Community has always been at the heart of why I opened Dara’s. This business has grown into a place where neighbours gather, friendships form, and people feel at home, and that means the world to me.

As I step into the next chapter of my business, you’ll start to notice a few small changes around here. My goal is to create an even better experience for you while staying true to the values Dara’s was built on.

And yes… something new and delicious is coming to the Coffee Bar soon. I can’t wait to share it with you.
