Today was one of the proudest days of my life.

Harper graduated preschool.
(Full disclosure...I carried her to get her diploma because she was absolutely not interested in participating. 😂)

In September, she’ll start kindergarten.

Years ago, we didn’t know if she’d ever walk. Today, she’s heading into her next chapter because of years of therapy, dedicated professionals, and the supports that helped her reach milestones we once weren’t sure were possible.

So when I learned that 327 education worker positions are being cut from the York Region District School Board, I couldn’t stay quiet.

The slides above are the message I wanted Ontario’s Minister of Education to hear.

Because I genuinely want to understand...

How do these cuts help children like Harper?
