“Can I use the pastel nagomi art technique to paint on canvas?” is a question that I have been getting from my students and others a lot. My response has always been “why not?” In the journey of creativity, the sky is the limit. 😊
Having said that though, sometimes it is easier and less intimidating to explore something new when guided through with step by step instructions.

Ritsuko Inaba sensei (Rii Pastel) recognizes this and has created an accredited course focusing on techniques and tips to paint with soft pastel on canvas. I’m glad to be one of the first certified instructors to be offering this course. ❤️
