My pieces are made using a wheel that gets its power from the sun, and trimmed on a wh

eel powered by my kicking foot. Once the pots are dried they’re brought to a nearby old mill for grid-electric kiln firing. I find inspiration in gardens, forest, local hills and the joy of creating. I try to bring care & beauty to every piece and hope this is felt when folks hold my pots in their own hands. Nothing tickles me more than thinking of my work becoming a part of someone else’s everyday ritual.

The freshly made version of my residency coil built vase. The body was built at Centre des arts d'Edmundston (then oh-so gingerly driven back) for the Madawaska & Wolastoq/Saint John rivers to be carved & formed at The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery (ALMAG)‘s River Art Centre.
(And didya know- where they meet is Edmundston!)
