Catherine Mount Designs Catherine Mount Designs creates hand crafted stylised blooms that will enhance your space with texture and colour. After 8 years I sold the floral studio.

Each piece is individually cut and assembled making every one unique, no two are ever the same just like in nature. I’m Cathy an inherently artistic person who’s creative adventures have always circled back to the blooms. My journey began in an art program which steered me in the direction of window design. I built my own props and created fabulous environments in the height of window design as an

art form, it was incredible…so cool. That industry moved me towards merchandising and I eventually bought my own flower shop… It is here I cultivated my passion for flowers. I then dove into event decor and design, mega weddings, bar mitzvahs and elaborate gala’s. This opened up an opportunity for me to teach at Sheridan …coaching young creatives was amazing! Shortly thereafter - I opened an art studio, teaching art to the masses in an unintimidating & fun way. The best job ever!! , I was surrounded by paint, paper, clay and souls chasing artistic dreams. Next turn back in a flower shop ..as I said back to the blooms...
My happy place is making stuff, All sorts of stuff, in all mediums but I have always the construction side of creation. A gift from my floral mentor opened the world of paper flowers and here I am! Paper can be manipulated in so many ways its infinite…..Check out my latest creations here…
