Currently on the easel: this meadow-scape is inspired by my front porch view. I did some creative editing and painted a serene brook instead of my road.

It has been artistically challenging (in a good way) to re-imagine what would make a good painting instead of just “printing” a photograph so to speak.

Small sticker BIG message.
Sticker available on my shop link in bio!
The story 👇🏻
We need to bring humanity back into the art world. This design was inspired by a branding photoshoot. I was embarrassed because I don’t have pretty hands BUT then I thought I have creative bad ass hands that make awesome art.

Then it occurred to me Many Artists before me only had their hands to create no computers no photography just passion and imagination. I know that there are people out there who value true real art.

Real hands, real talent. To be honest I thought AI was cool at first but not in my realm of art. There will be purpose for it in other ways helpful ie: Medicine etc but let’s keep art to the artists I don’t need to know what a computer thinks is beautiful I know what is. Keeping it traditional will never be something I regret.

I would rather be Taking a trip to gather reference photos or paying a photographer to use their photos as reference. I will never have a hard time sleeping at night because I don’t need to steal to show my talent it’s authenticity there.

Big news! I’m officially transitioning my studio from solely acrylics to oils as well.

Why the change?
Oils allow for a richness and blending capability that I’ve been craving. It’s a slower, more expensive, and more intentional way of painting—which means my business is growing up.

What this means for you:
1. The Client List: I’m now booking via a waitlist to ensure I’m not spread too thin.
2. Investment: My price point is shifting to reflect the premium materials and the weeks of drying time required for each piece.

I’m so excited to bring you along on this slower, more beautiful journey.

Happy valentines! 💌
Things I wholeheartedly believe in and out of studio:
1. You are ALLOWED to slow down even if the world is moving fast.
2. You can start over as many times as you need to. Nothing is absolute if you have a path you want to try do it!
3.Some of your best decisions won’t make sense to anyone else (and that’s okay!)
4.Being gentle with yourself if a skill worth practicing 💕
