I've created a new T-shirt. I say, "I've got this!" all the time in pickleball. That's often followed by, "I don't got this," when I flub the shot. For now, I've just gone with the first expression.

I had fun creating these pickleball player pins (2.25" in diameter). I did the drawing using the Procreate app on my iPad, then uploaded the jpeg file to a company that puts artwork on pin buttons, among other products.

I've created new surfer socks. I made them by drawing a black outline of a surfer woman, using the procreate app. I removed the background colour, uploaded the image to a provider that puts art on products, and spent some time creating a pattern that would repeat properly on the socks. I sent the demo to a surfer gal to have a look, and they turned out well, so they're now for sale in my kimDkits.ca shop.

- Cushioned bottoms for added comfort
- Stretchy, smooth 200-needle knit fabric (73% polyester, 18% nylon, 3% cotton, 6% spandex)
- Crew length suitable for casual, dress, or active wear

Took a couple of tries to make these pickleball socks print the way I wanted. First time, I used art that was too pale. Sometimes it's hard to tell what works best until l'm holding the product in my hands.

I was at No Frills recently, picking up tiramisu and ice cream for an impromptu dinner with my son. In the line-up for the cashier, I saw an attractive older man that I know in passing from my local gym. He was coming to line up behind me.

Part of me wanted to pretend that I didn't see him because I was a little embarrassed about my purchases, and I haven't been to that gym in months (I've been busy with other physical activity). Another part of me thought, I don't care what he thinks. I might even eat these two items together in the same dish, so deal with it! But in the end, I did say hello and we had a short, pleasant conversation.

I'm finding older age nice because I generally worry less about what other people think. But occasionally, a handsome man smiles at you, and you find yourself irrationally justifying the contents of your shopping basket - and your absence from the gym. Gaa!

Anyway, this woman is very happy with her new bucket hat with its duck-diving surfer gal embroidery. Organic cotton. One size fits most.
