Part 5 of my nostalgia painting - so bloody scared of ruining this painting by adding the background 😬 I did mess up some of the elements but thankfully since I'm using gouache, I can fix those up later.

Part 4 of my nostalgia painting - after many hours across several days, I'm finally painting the last biscuit in this tub. With a lot of embossed details, it was a bit of a challenge to make it look realistic but I hope I was able to do it! 🖌️

Part 3 of my nostalgia painting – working on what used to be my favorite wafers! I carefully worked on the values as I painted with gouache ro create the illusion of the wafers being stacked. Playing with the values is always challenging but also so fun!

I usually do small paintings but for this special subject, I decided to go big. This new 16" x 20" gouache painting I'm working on features a tub of biscuits that hold so much of my childhood memories. Are you familiar with these MY San biscuits? ♥️

I was practicing to paint with a limited palette and ended up painting a winter camp site scene 😅 It was a wildly rainy camping day but that won't stop me from sketching and painting from life with watercolor on my sketchbook!
