✨ Event Spotlight: Zuzu + Cory at Copper Creek ✨
A late summer celebration filled with colour, texture, and the best blooms September has to offer (this is my favourite time of year for flowers).
Zuzu and Cory envisioned florals that felt vibrant, seasonal, and full of life. We leaned into a palette of peach, coral, blush, and soft butter tones to compliment what was planted around the outdoor ceremony space. This “fruit punch palette” is the perfect transitional colour story for weddings that fall between late summer and early fall.
For the outdoor ceremony, we layered their chuppah with dahlias, garden roses (peonies come back for a short time this time of year too) and paired them with airy textures to create a soft romantic moment.
Inside, the reception featured two complementary table designs: delicate bud vase groupings filled with seasonal blooms alongside fuller statement arrangements that added depth and movement throughout the room.
September is peak dahlia season, and these blooms truly stole the show, bringing incredible colour variation and sculptural texture to the room.
One of our favorite moments was the front-facing head table. We love this layout because it allows the couple and their family to face their guests, creating a more connected atmosphere. Here we designed a layered tablescape of small vessels and candlelight that anchored the room beautifully.
A perfect day filled with colour, candlelight, and flowers at their seasonal peak.
