Roman shades are the ultimate design staple—bringing soft, cascading folds, rich organic textures, and instant warmth to any room. But if you thought classic, elegant shades meant dealing with manual cords, we have great news.
Right now, you don’t have to choose between luxury design and push-button convenience.
We are offering an exclusive Hunter Douglas promotion: Receive a FREE PowerView® Motorization upgrade on all eligible Provenance® Woven Wood and Vignette® Modern Roman Shades!
That’s a $500+ savings per window on the motor hardware itself. You get the sleek, cord-free look of bespoke Roman shades, paired with the quiet luxury of adjusting your light with a simple tap or voice command.
Note: Free upgrade applies to the motor units; power accessories and remotes are sold separately.
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect sign to refresh your home with timeless window fashions, this is it.

Ever bought the “cheaper” option... only to pay for it later?
We’ve all been there. You see a lower price tag at a big-box store or another budget retailer and think, “Why pay more when it’s basically the same thing?”
It’s easy to focus on the initial price, but it’s what happens after the sale that usually reveals the true cost.
When you go the budget route, you aren’t just saving a few dollars up front—you’re often giving up:
Post-sale support: What happens when a cord snaps, a motor needs troubleshooting, or a part needs replacing three years down the road?
Precise measurements: Off-the-shelf or DIY options leave gaps that ruin light control and energy efficiency.
Expert guidance: Navigating fabric weights, motorization, and mounting styles alone often leads to costly mistakes.
At Night and Day Window Decor, we don’t just sell window coverings and leave you to figure out the rest. You’re investing in dedicated design advice, precision installation, and a team that’s still here to help years after the job is done.
Before you settle for the “bargain” route, ask yourself: Who will I call when something goes wrong?

Celebrating Canadian Design last Thursday with Designers and Decorators Association of Canada DDA Canada .
I had the privilege of bringing along our leading design consultant (and brilliant interior designer!) Corinne as my guest. I even got to step up on stage to present the awards for one of the evening’s categories—and I’m happy to report I managed to walk up the stairs without tripping! 😅 A huge thank you to the fantastic MCs, Glen Peloso and Andria Cowan Molyneaux, for keeping us all entertained and bringing so much energy to the stage. Kudos to Ricarda’s , who had me at “ajvar with bread” 👏🏼
Events like this don’t just happen on their own. A massive thank you to the DDA board, the organizers, and all the amazing volunteers who poured their time and heart into making this celebration such a seamless, beautiful success.
Most importantly, a huge congratulations to all of the award winners and nominees! Your creativity, vision, and dedication to pushing the boundaries of Canadian design inspire us every day. We are so proud to support and collaborate with such a talented community.

She’s kinda decades of expertise… kinda iconic… kinda the reason your home looks stunning. ✨
In an industry without a red carpet, we make sure to give credit where it’s due. Meet Corinne—our top designer, window covering consultant, and quite frankly, a total gem.
With decades of experience under her belt, she’s easily one of the most knowledgeable window treatment and automated shading experts in the country. Our client reviews speak for themselves (spoiler: homeowners adore her), but what we love most? She’s as hands-on as she is high-style. Corinne isn’t afraid to get down and dirty to solve a complex installation challenge, and she does it all with kindness, fun, and effortless grace.
She truly is chic in every sense of the word—and she’s the heart of why our team is second to none.
Drop a 🤍 in the comments to show Corinne some love!

Motorized window shades make everyday light control easier, but no one wants to constantly replace batteries to keep them moving. The Hunter Douglas rechargeable battery wand provides long-lasting power for compatible motorized shades without relying on disposable batteries.
