Today we explored and discussed the democratic institutions of Canada - City Hall, the courthouse, as well visited the university, the theatre city, cathedrals, museums, and the historic market in London.
Along the way, we uncovered some fascinating stories: How did a submarine end up on Lake Erie? Why is there a mysterious portrait hidden on the courthouse ceiling? What is the story behind the Shakespearean Gardens? And where are plants for space missions actually grown?
Despite the rain, our incredible group embraced the adventure and completed the entire route with plenty of discoveries.
Next weekend we’re off on another unforgettable journey! We’ll visit the famous horse races, explore the home museum of one of Canada’s beloved humorists, discover the history of Discovery Harbour and its sunken ships, and admire the spectacular giant murals of Midland.
