Thinking about investing in silver? Here’s a simple breakdown.

Step 1: Decide what you want silver to do for you

- Hedge/insurance?
- Speculation on price?
- Diversification?

Physical silver (coins/bars)
- Best for: long-term holding, “real asset” ownership
- Watch for: premiums, dealer reputation, storage, buy/sell spread
- Tip: compare “price over spot” and know your exit plan

Silver ETFs
- Best for: convenience, liquidity, quick position sizing
- Watch for: fund structure, fees, custody language in the prospectus
- Tip: understand whether the fund is backed by allocated bullion, and what the rules are

Quick takeaway:
Physical = ownership & self-custody responsibilities
ETF = convenience & market access (with some structure risk)

Not financial advice — do your research.
If you want, comment “SILVER” and I’ll share a quick checklist for buying physical vs picking an ETF.

Silver has hit $100/oz. Aside from the hype, here’s why I stack silver.

1. Paper money gets printed. Silver has to be mined. I know which one I’d rather hold.

2. Silver isn’t about getting rich fast. It’s about not getting poor slowly

3. I don’t stack silver because I’m scared. I stack it because I understand history.

4. When everything is priced in dollars, the real question is what a dollar is worth.

5. Most people won’t think about silver until they’re forced to. By then it won’t be cheap.

6. No CEO. No earnings calls. No promises. Just metal.

7. We’re late to everything except protecting purchasing power.

This is probably the best designed coin in all of Canadian history.
