Communities across the global are preparing for a significant change in day-to-day operations to preserve our health and wellness. Lalji Home is no different, as we are dedicating and significantly committed to our customers for their business, the time and resources to prepare COVID-19 and the impact it will have in the coming weeks. Always our priority is to ensure the health and safety of our customers, our loyal employees, our loyal suppliers and our loyal manufacturers here in Canada and the US. Lalji Home is dedicated to taking decisive action based on recommendations from the Canadian Health Department and Government Organizations.
We understand this is a difficult time for everyone as a customer in every business in every industry that this is a global pandemic, and it is affecting us in many ways. It is likely that many people will be spending a significant time in their homes in the coming days and weeks caring for loved ones and avoiding this Coronavirus infection. If there is one thing that Lalji Home understands best in the last 40 years being in the retail home furnishings is that our homes are our refuge during this global crisis.
As per The Prime Minister of Canada's announcement and as of March 17th, 2020, our family owned business is temporarily closed to keep our employees and our customers safe from this global crisis of COVID -19. All products that are here in our warehouse are safe and sound and we will reschedule deliveries to your home as soon as we are advised by the Canadian Federal Health Department and The Prime Minister of Canada. We are all in this together.
As of yesterday, we have been notified by our manufactures and transportation companies that they are not able to deliver the special orders as scheduled. Some of these products are in production, some are ready to leave the factory and yet some are in transit.
Lastly, the Lalji Family sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you due to circumstances beyond our control. As soon as things get better, we will deliver your product that is on hand immediately including the special orders that arrives from our manufacturers. We will work tirelessly with our delivery service, factories and transportation companies until we fulfil your order. We don't know at this time for the special orders as the factories are closed, but we will work with them side by side as soon as they operations are up and running. This is in everyone's best interest to wait for the delivery of the product and not take a chance to get this deadly virus.
At this time, we want to thank you all for being a part of our community and sharing and helping one another as we are all in this crisis together. We hope and pray for your family's good health and safety.
