Good morning and thank you for your quick response to my inquiry yesterday.

I wanted to give you a rave review this morning after using your LoMi Mat Version 3.0 for the first time yesterday. The reason for the purchase earlier this year was because we remodeled our kitchen and purchased new appliances. My wife is not a fan of the ceramic surface stoves that are now sold and she was very concerned about the care of the top surface. She was especially concerned for its care at this time of the year. I make peanut brittle each year, and lots of it. The main ingredients are sugar and corn syrup. At hi temps these two products can be a mess on a stove top – especially at high heats for long periods of time. After researching solutions on the internet, she found your web site and we purchased our mat based on the content offered on your site.

We laid the LoMi Mat – Version 3.0 – on the stove top surface for the first time and heated the front two burners to the hi temp settings. The two burners stayed at the hi temp settings for 5 ½ hours straight. After the 5 ½ hours of continuous use here are our findings:

Some initial smoke was emitted from the mat for about 3 minutes. No additional smoke developed during the cooking process. I assume that smoke was due to the mat being new.
The mat showed no signs of deterioration throughout the duration of the 5 1/2-hour cook.
The mat protected the stove top as we hoped it would.
We did encounter the issue of not always having the pots placed properly on the burners – no way to see the burner location through the mat as many people have already referenced in their reviews. But, the mat did develop imprints of pot location over time as you can see in the attached picture.
After the cook the stove surface had signs of “lint” or “dust” on it. They cleaned off easily and the surface was like new.
After the cook the mat showed minimal signs of wear and tear.

Your product – the LoMi Version 3.0 mat worked perfect for us! It was as advertised!

I am attaching a few pictures of our experience for your review.

Thank you for developing this product.
