Good tile work is all about the details.

Today on our latest renovation site, our tile installer is setting the grout and using spacers to ensure every tile lines up precisely. Those small spacers might look simple, but they’re essential for creating clean grout lines and a finished look that feels balanced and professional.
Precision during tile installation makes all the difference. When the layout is planned properly and every tile is aligned with care, the finished surface looks seamless, durable, and built to last.
This is the stage where craftsmanship really shows.

Every beautiful renovation begins with the messy stage of removing what’s outdated so something better can take its place. Cabinets, countertop, a tile, and flooring came out during demo, giving us a clean slate to rebuild this space with thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and careful project management. Countertops went in today and it’s already making such a difference in the overall look of the space! ✨

✅ Meet client for cabinet, countertop, and flooring selections

✅ Remember to confirm appliance specs

✅ Confirm the quartz slab reserved

✅ Are cabinet fillers adjusted for that wall that’s never square?

✅ Update electrical for the pot filler

✅ I need a new miter saw 🛠️

✅ Are we still on schedule for template day?

✅ Confirm tile selections with tiler

We’ve got lots going on behind the scenes here in Canmore. Things have been moving along nicely and the countertop has been perfectly fitted for the custom cabinetry coming in. We’re excited to see the countertop installation happening soon! It always makes such an impact on a space!

During demo, we uncovered the original blueprints for this home, along with a Sears receipt dated 1987! 🤯

Moments like this are more than nostalgic. They’re educational.

Original plans tell us:
• How the home was framed
• What structural changes were made
• Where mechanical systems were originally placed
• How layouts have evolved over time

Understanding a home’s history helps us renovate intelligently not blindly.

Demo Day 2 in Canmore and the transformation is officially underway.

The cabinets are out. The wall tile is removed. Now we’re carefully lifting the existing kitchen floor tile to prepare for what’s coming next.

Behind every beautiful renovation is a clean, controlled demolition process. We’ve sealed off the workspace with full dust containment and poly walls to protect the rest of the home because a professional renovation doesn’t mean living in chaos.

We’ve wrapped up Day 1 of our latest Canmore reno! The client asked to join us in the initial demo and he had a blast making room for the new kitchen coming his way! 🥳

Despite today’s blizzard and fresh windy blanket of snow, we managed to tackle everything off of today’s demo list. We love to make sure we leave the job site clean and in good order for the clients, but it also makes it fresh and ready for us to get back at it in the morning! Thankful to have made it safely to and from the mountains today, but secretly I don’t mind a good driving challenge! 😏

We made it to Canmore on this incredibly snowy day! Drive out was smooth sailing and the start of this reno has begun on a great note! Today’s focus: gutting the kitchen, loading up the debris, and leaving an empty slate for the instal to begin! Can’t wait to bring you along on this journey!
