So....

I don't post on this platform much, as you can probably tell if you follow me here...or maybe you can't, because you just assume that I don't show up in your feed because neither does anyone else you follow, because that don't pay for Mr. Zuckerberg's extra yachts or whatever.....

Anyway....

Thought I'd drop a quick line for those of you who actually use this platform and MAY see this (but I'm not holding my breath), that there's a new place to see and purchase my work coming soon. I've been doing product photography most of the day today and will be getting back to it after I'm done typing this. Hoping to soft-launch it to my paying members on Patreon and Channel Members on YouTube (to give them first crack at stuff as another bonus for pitching in) in the next week or so, and then will announce the site to everyone after they help me work out any kinks that may exist.

As a reminder for those who are local to me here on Vancouver Island, I always have some of my things at The Crow's Nest Artist Collective in Campbell River.

And if you want to actually keep up with what's going on in my world, Facebook isn't the best place to try to do that. I'm much more active on my YouTube page than I am anywhere else, but I also do weekly (at least) posts for my subscribers at patreon.com/woodenthingsandstuff

Anyway...talk to you all again in, like, probably June, considering my last post before this one was in August of last year.

Two more turners were created yesterday at The Crow's Nest Artist Collective, methinks.

Ben and Justin took the first ever "Woodturning Extravaganza" class where we did Level 1 (Pens) in the morning and Level 2 (Bowls) in the afternoon.

We ran out of time for them to actually finish their bowls, but I'll be bringing them back in to complete the course in the near future.

Thanks for being troopers, you guys. I know it was a LONG day and I kind of turned on the firehose of information about the craft at times, and you were excellent students.

Also, if you're in the Victoria area, Justin may have a boat for sale soon so he can go lathe shopping. Just a rumour I heard.
