Beginnings
I came to a realization recently that virtually all of the work I have done in my life has been written or designed or presented. I have generated hundreds of blogs and essays, lectured classes, coached fitness, and produced countless strength and conditioning training programs. While that leaves lasting impressions of a certain type, I felt the need to create something a bit more tangible. I like the idea that working with wood and crafting unique pieces will leave a legacy that can be touched and seen.
That is where Forest Furnish comes in. A chance for me to put effort into a physical product, to learn a new craft, and to shape some unique and beautiful items. Many of my pieces come from wood that I have cut, carried, split, and worked by hand. Others come from reclaimed lumber that will have new life and presence in your home.
Along the way I will learn a lot. My hope is that I will be able to supply you with a piece of nature that will be useful, beautiful, and unique.
