Can’t beat studio shelves in the morning sun, here on glazed pieces in Cobalt waiting for the kiln. The pastel powdery coating will then turn a vibrant blue with a smooth satin finish.

I have a couple of these beauties left over from the quilt show, they are my favourite from the latest quilt-y things I made! Get in touch if you are interested as they aren’t on the website yet (I also have a pair in a green on white colourway).
Thanks to the lovely ppl I chatted with and met during the show 💙. I have been back to catch up on production since and thought ai should say “Hey” over here 👋🏻.

Hard to believe I am typing these words but the first fall market for me is coming up - just a month away! Fall is always so busy with wholesale orders and prepping for markets later in the season but I couldn’t resist doing the Erin Baye because - obviously - I love sewing!
I have been eagerly waiting the return of this bi-annual show to snag some vintage quilting fabrics and admire the quilts so being a vendor is a is a win-win!

Hope to see you there 💙

New stockist alert if you are in the Saanich/Victoria area: Charlotte & The Quail 🥗🤍🌸 was recently stocked with a nice little selection of Classic Mugs, Comfort Mugs and Everyday Bowls.
A must stop for a lovely breakfast, coffee, lunch and a drink and of course and home goods!
Look how well my pottery fits in! Love it 💙

Honestly in shock tomorrow is the first if August…
Spent the end of June and part of July fulfilling wholesale orders that went off to long time partner Fieldstudy and to a new partnership with Cooloir in Whistler!

Go check them out - both are beautifully curated shops 💙

And now finishing an order for a shop in Victoria, private orders and onto wholesale for the end of summer/start if fall 🤯.

Oh look, what a nice variety of mugs available for perhaps, a last minute father’s day present?! Even though it is right around the corner, there is still time for local pickup, shipping as always (to Vic/Van would arrive there mon-tue!) and I even have gift cards available if you want to let them choose :) My personal choice would be the house mug, because to me Dad means home ❤️. If you are lucky enough to be celebrating your own father figure give ‘em an extra squeeze for those of us who can’t.

All mugs of course are perfect as a “for no reason” treat, gift, or just an addition to your collection!

What is “Home”?!
Looking at the home quilt block mug made me think of the concept of home, growing up, and who/what/where *feels* like home.
I will spare you the lengthy paragraphs on moving around when growing up and how that changes what can feel like home. On life without my dad for over a decade and how that ties to home. On why and how making my home a beautiful cozy place to be is like the mother hobby umbrella to my many hobbies: daily mugs and dinnerware (ahem), sewing, gardening, making furniture, making and collecting art and so much more…
🏡❤️✨

The online shop has been updated! There are lots of mugs - new quilt mugs in the classic style, the favs in the comfort style, magnetic pin dishes, bud vases for your spring blooms, a few splatterware bowls, etc!

Go have a look and treat yourself :)

Unloaded a kiln full of splatterware so I added a few bowl styles to the pre-order🌀♦️
I will have these bowls with me at the Ichigo market on Sunday!
If you want a serving or breakfast bowl in red email me! I don’t have samples yet so that’s why they aren’t up. New glazes are so fun and just kinda going with the wind here im a not like my type A self way at all soooo sorry for the lack of organization?! Hopefully you’re in for the ride too!

I introduced these splatterware mugs via stories the other day and based on your lovely responses I thought I’d open a pre-order for them! The green isn’t available yet as I need to test again to see if I can get a better result on the green splatters but red and blue are a go!!

Head to the link in bio to get your pre-order in ❤️💙
