A quick coffee and then I am off to the store. we run a sawmill business & artisan store out of an ~1883 built renovated C.P.R. 🚂 freight shed in our yard.

Random scrolling led to these two sexy veggies becoming a horticultural project. Clearly my brain has left my body. Or maybe it is just my good judgment that has strolled away. Nevertheless meet two swanky lads ... a beet ... a sweet potato. That are apparently supposed to look swish when you grow them in water. I have serious doubts. But she who laughs at her self ... laughs best. Or is subject to ridicule by all the sensible folks around her.

I think I am going to try this. I prefer indoor plants that can grow in water ... and I have lots of containers to choose from. I will dive into my curated stash or grab something from the store. If the sweet potato actually grows foliage it could be cool. Wish me bonne chance.
