This summer was the first season of my life where I’ve been entirely self-employed. I was 13 hours short of meeting qualifications for EI from my school district work, so it was really a hustle to make sure it all worked out. I’m abundantly proud to be here. Freelancing is not for the faint of heart 💜 I intentionally booked off this week at the end of it all, knowing I’d need to recuperate and goodness am I grateful to past Courtney. I spent this week hiking and swimming and feasting on wild blueberries. We skinny-dipped in waterfalls and climbed barefoot down mudslides. I took every deep breath of pine-scented air I possibly could and for the first time in a long time, I feel rested. And ready! Back to work 🧚
