My client had a clear vision of how she wanted this space in her home to look like, down to the textured style of the background and the swooping birds. It was a such a joy to try new techniques and methods to bring everything to life!

The whimsical willows, the antique texture, the delicate foliage - all came together in such a unique way and felt like a perfect fit with the rest of her home!

This project was one of the highlights of 2025 for so many reasons.
It pushed me in a completely new way - painting my client’s river view across nine walls wasn’t just about decor to them, it was deeply personal. I wanted to make sure I honored their story and their vision.

In the end, it became one of the most creatively rewarding experiences I’ve had and taught me a lot - mostly to trust myself, stop second-guessing, and stop turning away opportunities out of fear.

And the cherry on top: this project being featured in the cover story of Our Homes magazine.

Feeling incredibly grateful for all of it. 🤍

P.P.S. Spot is the first squirrel I’ve painted. He was named for a little white spot he had on his thigh and was so loved by my clients that they couldn’t even imagine this mural without him in it. 🐿️
