THIS or THAT: Exterior Finishes Edition
Choosing exterior finishes might be one of the hardest design decisions when building a home. 😅

Now that our stone is complete, the next big decision is the stucco colour!

Should it be…

THIS: darker than the stone 🤎
or
THAT: lighter than the stone 🤍

I asked this question in my Stories yesterday, and lighter received 50% of the vote, darker received 31%, and matching the stone received 19%.

But that was before everyone could actually see the two front-runners on the house! 👀

One year ago today, I shared the very first post on The Dubo Project. 🤍

At the time, we had a dream, a set of plans and absolutely no idea how much this little page would become part of the journey.

Over the past year, we’ve watched our downsized custom home slowly take shape, made more decisions than I could ever count, changed plans, navigated delays, celebrated exciting milestones and shared plenty of honest moments along the way.

But one of the most unexpected parts has been this community.

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or joined us somewhere along the way, thank you for following, encouraging us, sharing your advice and being part of The Dubo Project. It has made this experience even more special. 🤍

And the timing feels especially exciting because, one year later, we’re about to enter the finishing stage… the part I have been waiting for most!

There is still so much ahead, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
