I think we’re missing out on a great colour.

It’s been so heavily coded as “feminine” that a lot of people avoid it altogether, not wanting to be seen that way.

That says a lot… why is that a bad thing in the first place?

”Pink” underglaze (the best pink, IMO) from

🎶And isn’t this piano passage beautiful? One person commented “it’s like dancing crystals”, which was exactly what I heard, too.

This one didn’t work out the first time, but I’m not giving up on it.

I designed this as a cocktail setup to store salt or sugar for rimmers, with space for citrus juice or simple syrup while you’re mixing.

I’m dialing in the measurements and the design in two parts before going back to three, and I’m ✨open to ideas✨ as I refine it.

I’m a Caesar person… but I could see this being perfect for a good lemon drop or chocolate martini too. What’s your go-to?

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

This is a favourite mug from my last completed batch in December popping onto your feed to remind everyone that love is love!

This Curvy Carved Ombré Mug with a rainbow gradient is off living its best life somewhere in Quebec now! 😊 I love thinking of my work as signals of acceptance that I am sending out into the world.

This month I’ve been having some fun getting to know my new slab roller alongside making a small batch of Carved Ombré mugs. After the big Christmas push it’s been nice to take the time to explore some ideas and iterations.

Today is one of those idyllic winter days. It’s cold but not windy and there’s a fluffy blanket of snow over everything. The air is full of fat snowflakes slowly making their way down to settle on branches, fence posts and outstretched tongues.

Pictured: a favourite mug from the last batch of preorders.

Swipe to the right: the winter view from our front window. I was going to take a photo while I was walking back from taking Ren to school but I was walking and talking with a friend. 💕

As I ease into the new year, I’m considering offering a small number of presales… is that something people are into? Or do you prefer waiting for a shop update?

Every woman experiences discrimination differently. Women of colour, LGBTQ2S+ and other minorities face layers of overlapping struggles that change how they experience the world.
My work is carved with a floral design that portrays women connecting and expanding their influence on the world around them. The carving ventures into unexpected places, dropping into the interior, curling around the handle and onto the bottom of the mug.
Young girls especially are socialized to make themselves smaller and to go out of their way to make other people more comfortable. I’d like to encourage women to take up space. To me, that means lifting each other up, unlearning habits of stepping aside, stop over-apologizing and staying quiet.
