The bed, reimagined as a silhouette to be tailored. For its 10th edition, we invite designers to explore 'Dressed to Sleep': a theme where the base and headboard become a structure to be dressed, as if preparing to clothe a body. The task is to shape that silhouette and master the hold of the chosen material, with a gesture that mirrors the couturier's own: precise, patient, never left to chance.

One condition remains non-negotiable: the line must never take precedence over comfort, Elite's founding promise.

Three winning designs will be brought to life by our master artisans and showcased at Milan Design Week 2027.

Welcome to the 10th edition of the Elite Design Awards! This year's theme, 'Dressed to Sleep', invites designers to rethink the bed as a structure to dress: an elegant, bespoke, signature piece that speaks the same language as haute couture.

Three winning designs will be brought to life by Elite's master artisans and showcased at Milan Design Week 2027, with cash prizes.

For its ninth edition, the Elite Design Awards competition chose to honour youth and boldness under the inspiring “Cosmopolitan Cocoon” theme.
From a hundred entries from all over the world, four visions submitted by women caught the eye of the jury chaired by interior architect Iria Degen. We meet the finalists Victoire Equine and Emma Landauer (1st prize), Mélyna Baffert (2nd prize) and Alicja Stańczyk (3rd prize), whose 3D prototypes were brought to life at Elite’s Aubonne workshop before their official consecration on 22 April 2026, at Milan Design Week.

The concept of the “Miota” bed is rooted in formal simplicity, expressed through softly curved, gently rounded contours. These create a sense of comfort, softness, and aesthetic harmony, enveloping the sleeper the moment they lie down. “Miota” was designed by the Cuban designers Sergio Luis Torres Gallué and Dariel Quiñones Torres for the Elite Design Awards.
