In a vast valley, there was once a thriving village of stonemasons. After a great flood, business withered, and the village became desolate.
Before long, the stone paths were overgrown with w**ds. Growing at lightning speed, they mocked the few masons who remained.
One w**d bragged to the oldest heavy-duty press in the shop: "Look at me! I only need a little rain to conquer this place. But you? You are heavy, clumsy, and without electricity, you’re just a hunk of scrap metal. The valley belongs to the 'Fast Life' now!"
Many young masons listened and thought it made sense. They dropped their heavy chisels and started learning how to sway with the wind. They settled wherever the soil was loose and even mixed mud into their stone products just to sell them faster for a meal.
But the press remained silent. Every day, it maintained its bearings and polished its molds. It said: "I do not exist to compete with w**ds for ground; I exist to wait for the bedrock that must withstand ten thousand tons of weight."
One year, an architect came from afar to build a great tower. He walked past the w**d-choked shops and saw owners idling and drifting with the tide. He sighed, ready to leave.
Just then, he heard a deep, powerful roar—the old mason had started the press.
The press closed, and ten thousand tons of force erupted. Those stones mixed with sand instantly crumbled into dust and were blown away by the wind. But the real granite, under that massive pressure, did not crack. Instead, it bonded perfectly with the veneer—seamless and tight. No storm could ever peel them apart.
The architect’s eyes lit up. He said: "This is the 'No Peeling, No Opening' strength I need. The w**ds are everywhere, but they cannot support even one floor of height."
From that day on, all orders flowed to that press. As for the w**ds? They were cleared away because they were simply in the way.
