🎉 SSM stove were truly honored to host Secretary-General Ren of the China Stove Committee, as well as Professor Wang, Editor-in-Chief of China Stove Network.

Accompanied throughout the tour by SSM CEO Jack Shen, they explored the full production process—from to final packaging—and gained an in-depth understanding of the engineering behind our stove tops, bodies, and bases. The visit highlighted our innovations in technology and how we transform advanced research and development into large-scale, efficient manufacturing.

Through this exchange, Secretary-General Ren and Professor Wang gained a more comprehensive understanding of our efforts and achievements in developing high-efficiency, sustainable cookstoves.

Two Ugandan master's students from Beijing University of Chemical Technology are comparing a new biomass stove with a traditional one in SSM's ISO 19867-1 lab, gathering data on combustion efficiency and emissions to support clean cooking tech promotion in Africa.
SSM's technical team is walking them through laboratory system operations step-by-step, guiding the Ugandan students in mastering ISO-standardized testing protocols.

Following ISO protocols, they collected multi-dimensional data under simulated cooking conditions. they monitored temperature changes while tracked real-time CO, CO₂, and PM2.5 emissions, ensuring precise, controlled experimentation through seamless teamwork.

During the experiment, the two students strictly followed the testing procedures established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), collecting multi-dimensional data on the combustion performance of different stoves under simulated cooking scenarios. they focused on recording temperature changes, while simultaneously recorded the real-time emission concentrations of CO， CO2, and PM2.5. Their seamless teamwork ensured that each experimental step was precise and controllable.

At the COP30 summit held in Belém, Brazil, Li Gao, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, announced at the "High-Level Forum on South-South Cooperation in Addressing Climate Change" held at the China Pavilion that China has officially launched the flagship South-South cooperation project on addressing climate change, the "Clean Stoves" initiative. This project will provide 100,000 clean stove units, directly benefiting people at the grassroots level.
