LEDstripee is my second business adventure.
12 years ago, I resigned from the manager of RISHANG optoelectronics as international sales manager and establish SunsignLED company ,during past 12 years, SunsignLED company have achieved more than 2.1 billion USD in LED signage modules and strip manufacturing,exported to more than 60 countries all around the world.
By the beginning of 2020, we start to sell our strip directly for domestic project as linear lighting solution due to COVID-19. I has visited the lighting market and participated a lot of furniture show&hotel show&lighting show&design week etc in Shanghai, Guangzhou,Shenzhen,etc.After two years deeply investigation, it felt that the traditional OEM mode (to international brand like Osram&Tridonic) is not suitable for the project engineering.
Due to LED parameter is too complicated (color temperature,PCB thickness,CRI,power consumption,LED numbers,IP class), it is generally difficult for local dealers to manage inventory, train sales and find suitable and reliable suppliers.One the contrary, it’s also very hard for the recruitment of manufacturers (difficult to train skilled workers), factory management difficulties (high cost of switching production line for small orders) and sales cost ( high travel expenses and high salary of skill salesman), it is a great waste of resources on the supply side and demand side of the industry, Finally, it will be reflected in the end-price in the form of cost.
This dilemma especially affects small and medium-sized dealers. It is difficult for them to bear the time cost and expenses of coming to China. It is almost impossible to select suitable partners from thousands of factories and large exhibitions in a very short time. This situation is also difficult to change after the COVID-19.
This is the value of Stripee.
