Is your LED screen spec ready for a site at high altitude? 🏔️
Most indoor LED projects never think about air density. At elevation, thinner air means less convective cooling around the cabinet and driver ICs. The real impact depends on altitude, temperature, airflow and cabinet design, so it needs planning, not guessing.
Our recent project: a 4.25m × 2.97m P2 indoor LED display for a government assembly hall in a high-altitude region of China.
What we did differently:
✅ Planned module layout and ventilation around thermal margins from day one
✅ Specified power distribution and surge protection for a remote site
✅ Fitted the screen flush into a traditional wood and textile interior
✅ Installed steel frame first, wiring second, modules last, with no rework
Result: a clean, stable display that reads as part of the room, not a retrofit. 👏
